SO can't read your CDs?
Getting disc read errors?
Brek out the Q-Tips and Windex.
Yup Q-Tips and Windex.

I asked a buddy of mine what to do to fix my system.
Asked about buying laser and he told me to just try the windex first because most of the time that will work.

Glad he told me that because it saved me like 40$.

So you're basically telling us to clean the laser when it's not reading the disc very well?

Yea pretty much.
But change "very well" to not reading at all.

But some people/places try to tell you that you migth need a new optic or some other stupid fix when really all it takes to fix the problem is about a 1/8 of a cent worth of windex and a q-tip.
