It's odd in a Nintendo published release they scrubbed the Christian iconography but left the priest/monk in.

My favorite boss was the comet. It was so odd fighting a face.

I agree the ending was odd. Will and Kara sort of created modern civilization at the end.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'd recommend it as one of the best Zelda clones on the system.
