Xbox One "Indie" games to have 1k GS!?!?

Xbox One "arcade" games  already have 1,000 gamer score as there was no longer going to be a distinction between "retail and XBLA"

Now the director of the One indie scene says those will also have 1,000 GS.

I can certainly see this as beneficial to indie devs.

There has been a fair amount of complaining in the past (on achievement sites anyways) from people that indie games should have some GS attached even if it wasn't a full 200 (back when XBLA games were only 200)

Love them or hate them achievements drive sales.

ID@Xbox isn't like the Xbox 360 Indie program. It's just a way for well-established developers to publish their titles without an official publisher, and they have to adhere to strict guidelines for first-party services.

Although...I wonder what it takes to get apps published on the Xbox Store...
