stumbled on this from my days at Kay-Bee toys. it's a promo item for the NES game Bill Elliot's NASCAR Challenge.

Very cool indeed!  Are there any more marks on it that identify it as video game related?  A seal of quality or something?

no, the only printing is what you see in the picture. the car is a 1/64 scale Ford Thunderbird by ERTL.
