This year's mini-E3 was seriously lacking in the blasting-of-aliens department.  Let us know what past alien video games you like.

I wish that would've been the SMS version of this game. It's much better than the NES version. That's the way I feel about it anyway. I haven't played the NES one nearly as much.

Talk about the SMS version!  I don't know anything about it!

I added some missing information to the page  Cheesy

I've played the NES version once (maybe a few times?)

It's an ok shooter.

Well the SMS version is everything an SMS version usually is. It is more colorful, difficult, non-linear, and interesting. The controller makes it more difficult though. It was the first SMS game I remember playing all that much, although one of those bosses (I think it's in level 5) is practically impossible and I've never been past it.

Well the one thing the NES version did better was the box art. Damn SMS box art sucks

Yeah, there's really no comparison there. I never have understood why Sega chose to skimp in the box art department. I also thought it was lame that they usually gave the main character in the picture childlike features. I figure that was the age bracket they were targeting but I think it would've been much wiser to go the more artistic and mature route as is shown in the NES artwork.

As for the game, I only have the SMS version. It's a fairly good shooter but it's a bit more difficult than I think it needed to be.
