We could get around that if the rating system gets altered a bit.
IIRC, the admins were even working on this in the background (1 game = 1 rating)

The thing with that is that the US/ PAL/ Asian games aren't linked in any way, there are all in the database as seperate entries. Someone would have to go through and manually link all of the entries together to allow a singular generated score for the particular game. Also, as well, some versions of games are actually different from the foreign counter parts such as all of the old 16 bit stuff which was miles slower than the US counterparts (ie Streetfighter II) therefore making it a different expeience, in addition I was recently reading an article in Games TM which said that some older 8 bit stuff on C64/ Speccy etc was programmed by different companies in different countries this then meant these games were totally different.
Just being a bit of the devils advocate there.
