I couldn't get my side mount Sega CD to work this weekend, so I was checking around to see if I could find a replacement and came across a CDX. They wanted a decent amount for it, so I scrouged up a few doubles that I had around and ended up getting it for $45.

Now I just gotta get rid of the stupid RF switch, and get a controller extension, and I will be in business.

There's always the hope of finding one in a Thrift discarded into a pile of old cd players.

Heh, I always look through that old junk. Never do find much, but once and a while you'll find a broken TG16 for $1 Smiley I wasn't even looking for one of these, since I really didn't have any more money to spend on video games, but I've really started to focus on Genesis lately and have been interested in starting a Sega CD collection for some time. I have my 9-pin AV cable on the way from eBay, as well as a controller extender (since wireless won't work with this particular console).

It was a nice find, and the price wasn't too bad.  The CDX, and the JVC X'Eye can go for big bucks (especially if CIB).  Nice purchase.

I was happy to get it for what I got it for. It's in nice condition, I just wish it would have been complete.

I still prefer the Aisan and European name. Multi-Mega. Lovely

Now pop a 32X in the top and take another pic to make look the Governing master of uber cool. Cheesy
