There is a scene in this movie where the Punisher sticks a knife up into a guys chin and when the guy opens his mouth to gargle, you can see the knife in his mouth. That, and that alone, saved this movie from being one of the worst pieces of trash I've ever seen. And don't forget to buy a GTO (they managed to fit that in there too).

Don't be upset about it.  You lucked out that day when your friend forgot his ID.  The Punisher was a piece of trash.  He didn't even punish anyone until the last fifteen minutes of the movie or so.  The first hour and a half was a lot of sissy people looking at each other at length without saying anything.  I've seen silent movies with more dialogue than this piece of trash.  Don't bother seeing it unless you fast-forward to the very end.

A Punisher video game would be a great success if they could just make a good movie to get people interested.

There have already been punisher vg's made.
I'll check on the systems...
Ok i found them on
NES, Genesis, Arcade, Gameboy, PC, PS2 and Xbox in the US.
Master System and Arcade in Europe.
Arcade in Japan.
Unfortunately im going to have to double check because this source hasnt been the most reliable lately...
The only thing i dont have solid evidence on is the arcade releases and its coming out 2005 on Xbox and PS2

So I don't know every title that's ever come out. I quit collecting the comic around 1990 because it seemed like Marvel was putting every intern and new hire on it even as their best artists were moving to DC.

But are any of those games any good?

I'm a big Punisher fan. Been reading the comics for like 10 years. Still havent seen the movie. Very very afraid to. I have two Punisher shirts for godsake.
The arcade Punisher game by Capcom is pretty cool.(it did come out in the states) Its on Genesis also. Plays kind of like Final Fight, but occasionally you get guns. (So I guess its more like Cadillacs and Dinousaurs, if you're hip)

Its based on a cool comic and cartoon series. Like, I said, FInal FIght with guns. The story is kind of escaping me, but basically, you've got all these pulp like heroes in a world of dinosaurs. And uh... they have cadillacs. There was a rival group of people there, with some freaky villains. I cant believe Ive forgotten all this stuff. Im too lazy to look it up.
There was also an FMV game, I believe for 3DO and maybe Sega CD.

Yeah, I think it might have been Valiant.
Wait, upon further speculation, it was someone even smaller I think. Again, still too lazy to look it up on that internet thing.
