2.06.06?! Today is 2.17.06! Alas, this staff member must have been really busy in the last few weeks. But, rejoice! Animal Crossing: Wild World is our new featured game.

In a game where where you cannot win, Nintendo finds a way to turn a bunch of apparently menial tasks into a game with a ton of replay value. Make friends, make enemies, fish for Coelecanths, find that T-Rex fossil, shoot Gulliver out of the sky, and so much more in this wild world. This game does everything it possibly can to make you coming back day after day.

Who ever would have thought that in this family friendly era for the Big N they would create a game that spawned such enties as Nookbay and buying items on eBay? I sure did not!

I think this game is a lot of fun and I am a person that hates handheld gaming. I have borrowed my friends DS for weeks to play this game. It is the reason I will be getting a DS.

Flawless victory!

Erm...... I mean yes, it was my DS that Scott borrowed  Wink

Animal Crossing Wild World is great. So many interactions with the surroundings(people and enviroment). Different events, both special to online and also to the time of year (holidays).

Wanna catch that fish to complete your museum?
Not today, becuase that fish only is catchable at the middle of the year. Wink Or maybe you can only get it at certain hours of the day? Digging for fossils, planting fruit, expanding your house, furnishing it and saving bells (money) for cool stuff to buy, or maybe for that rainy day.

There is alot to go into on this game. I have merely scratched the surface  Smiley

I started to write my post and realized about halfway through that I was just talking about what I've been doing over the last week.  ^^'

I'll just say that this is a truly immersive game and leave it at that.
