Final Fantasy XIII Xbox Exclusive status: How long will it last?

Is it still Xbox360-only for some time before it'll be released on the PS3?

At E3 2008, during Microsoft's media briefing, it was announced that Final Fantasy XIII would be released first in Japan on the PlayStation 3, then released simultaneously in North America and Europe on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The latter would start development only after the Japanese PlayStation 3 version is finished.[26] A Japanese release of the Xbox 360 version of the game is not planned.[27] The game will be released in Japan in 2009.

And wow: still such a long wait? The Japanese version will be released first and that's only in 2009...we'll have to wait until 2010, I'm sure.
