Well the sale came and went in the blink of an eye. I tried my best to get one but there was no luck the website crashed for me right as they went on sale and I couldn't stick around till it came back.  :'(

Has anyone hear heard of this or manage to get one? Do you even care?

All I know is that I really want one and can't wait for the second batch.  drool

Yeah same, I'm hoping since they sold out in two hours (and the only reason it took that long is because the website crashed) they steps up the production run making run two cheaper. Also from what I hear the second run will be more suited for the Toploader with moving the HDMI port out more so you don't have to modify the cord to fit.

yeah he mentioned that in the update about the second batch fixing the hdmi port. that wont effect me since I do not have a top loader but still pretty awesome. As for driving the cost down I would like slight chance, since the first batch did sell out so fast means they are in demand and someone is willing to pay that price

True but the first batch was only a couple hundred they could get the cost way down with even at just a thousand. I don't know but the guy doesn't seem like the type to do that with how cheap all his other kits are I think he'd pass on some of the savings but I could be wrong. Even if the price doesn't drop it's a pretty good price point for everything they've put into it and want all it does.
