552 NES games!  I reached my goal!
Great job!

Thanks.  I'm hoping you can help me with Stadium Events. Wink

I think I have a spare laying around here somewhere.....

It's probably Canadian, though.  Who wants Canadian? Wink

Not even us right now Sad

That bad?  My goal is to get up there and see your store.  Hopefully, one day it will become a reality.

Let me know if I can help

Met some goals, failed some others. Considering some of the titles I ended up getting I'm pretty satisfied with how the year went overall for collecting. Looking forward to making some big goals over the next year.

Game Room Goal -

MORE SHELVES!!!! - Success!

My lovely wife had her brother bring me up many IKEA bookcases for my birthday this year so I've been able to get all my games out of boxes and off the floor over the last few months. It's still a work in progress, but that's due to lack of time and not shelf space anymore Smiley

Collecting Goals -

- Fire Emblem Sacred Stones CIB (Last North American FE) - Failure
Had a few loose copies come in the store so far, but no CIB ones Sad
- Finish North American Working Designs Collection - Failure
Made almost no progress on this goal in 2015 Sad
- Over 125 ATLUS Games across all systems - Success
Thanks to a generous Secret Santa gift and a great time game hunting in the south with Duke I ended up at 132 ATLUS titles for the year!!
- 90+ TG16 Games - I'm counting it!
I ened up at 86 games and not the 90 I had hoped for, but since one of those games was Magical Chase I'm counting it as a win!
- 25+ Turbo CD Games - Failure
One game shy Sad
- Finish CIB Virtual Boy Collection - Failure
Made almost no progress on this one either Sad
- Get either a Neo Geo CD or Atari Jaguar + Games - Success
Got myself an awesome little Atari Jaguar starter set early in the year!
- All Wii U games released in 2012 - Failure
Still a couple titles eluding me......Damn you Funky Barn!!!!!

I think this list is pretty reasonable.

1. Obtain 2 of the 4 remaining licensed NES titles I need for a complete set
2. Get to 100 total Colecovision titles (currently at 83 86)
3. Obtain at least 10 more Atari 2600 titles, including finishing off Panda and Xonox subsets.
4. Obtain MUSHA on the Genesis
5. Obtain Wild Guns on the SNES
6. Obtain Silhouette Mirage on the PSX
7. Finish Starpath Supercharger CIB subset (Party Mix - IB, Rabbit Transit - CIB, Survival Island - C)
8. Obtain 2 of 5 Brazilain CCE Atari 2600 titles (Immies & Aggies, Mission 3000 A.D., Pizza Chef, Sea Monster, Squirrel)

**special - ensure that scans of all my software, hardware, and materials are scanned into the RF Gen database** Cheesy

I'm really happy with how I ended up this year. I didn't meet all of my goals, mainly the Colecovision, Supercharger, and CCE goals, but I took out some big hitters. I'm especially happy to knock 2 of the 4 games off my remaining licensed NES set and will have the goal of checking off at least one more in 2016.

Well, I reached my goal of 550 NES and got even beyond that.  I ended the year with 555 NES games.

Focus on completing the NA GCN set, maybe hitting around 450. (375 currently)

Decide which system I would want to go for after the 'Cube...thinking maybe Game Boy if it is even possible, or the Wii U, since titles are few and far between.

455 total titles for the GCN and have decided that I likely won't go for another completion after it.

- Clayfighter 63 1/3 Sculptor's Cut box
 - Get at least one of the following, the next 3 most expensive N64 titles after SC that I don't own yet:
    - Stunt Racer 64 - CIB
    - Super Bowling - CIB
    - Transformers: Beast Wars Transmetals - CIB
 - Fill in the blanks to make the rest of my N64 games all CIB
 - 200 North American N64 games had made this goal, since sold off 28 N64 games for condition
 - Continue cleaning games finished entire collection
 - Weed out the last shelf unit for anything I'm not interested in keeping. - finished

Like everyone, I didn't finish all my goals but I'm quite happy with what I did accomplish last year. Super Bowling was an exciting addition to the collection, glad to knock off one of the expensive N64 titles.

My biggest accomplishments were finishing some major projects that have been on/off in progress for years.

One was to clean every game in my collection, and document in my excel file any condition issues that bothered me. I finished cleaning every game, though I still need to do the same with Hardware.

After that I confirmed that my Excel and RFGeneration lists are both 100% accurate to what's on my shelves.

I also sold off everything that was too far gone in terms of condition even if I like the game, or if it wasn't at least 2/3 complete (box/game, or manual/game). Played a bit of every game that I wasn't familiar with to decide if it was worth keeping in my collection from a gamer's point of view. The overall theme of my collection is by far "Quality over Quantity" now, except of course N64 which I'm going for the full set still.

Lastly, and most practical, I made an extensive WTB list for every system I own. I'm so tired of shopping for games and having to do ebay searches for each title, or just go by gut instinct and risk making an expensive mistake. Now I never buy anything unless it's on my list and within the price range I dictated for it. I'll only pick up something not listed if I'm absolutely certain I want it and know the value. I plan on updating the prices and the contents of the list itself every six months or so. I would prefer to do it every three months but that's too unreasonable given the length of the list and how long it takes to price it out.

I'm going with more modest goals for 2015:

- Upgrade one console to RGB (Most likely Genesis)

- Buy the following:
  - More Famicom/SuFami games
  - At least one title off my must own list
  - Darkwing Duck for the NES
  - More Homebrews
  - Skylanders Giants or Trap Team

- Fill in missing items in RFGEN database

RGB and Skylanders moved over to 2016. 2015 was a good year with most of my goals completed.
