This was found on Craigslist ad  a group lot of 13 games ( with 12 in the picture ) and this was the cart that was cut off and not in the picture. Being a Proto/ Demo cart its nice to see things like this pop up from time to time. Getting items like this rescued and sharing them with the gaming community is one of best parts of being a gamer.

Heres the picture of the label

Here is the cart next to the regular production releases of Thorn Emi Carts

Computer War! Awesome. Nice find, sir. Have you dumped the ROM or done a visual comparison to see what's different, or is it a review copy?

The start up seem to be the same till I get the rom dumped and compare code.  It just different looking in that the chips are different.  Not sure if it is a complete game or a partial. I probably is a demo reviewers in that the back of the cart was taped and no screw holding it like the release version. Also the board says different things compared to the released copy with a red wire soldered in.

Odd indeed

Any dates on the inside that may help, or any dates on the start screen? You may not be able to get those without dumping the ROM.

Copyright on the start up is 1983 like the released copy.
