Shigeru Miyamoto, Super Mario Bros. designer, also added that he originally designed the game so that everyone could beat it. “I failed miserably,” he said at the end of his answer.  Undecided

Interesting read but you can't help feeling depressed and old after reading it.

That would be an interesting event if there was a Wizard-style competition for youngsters. Have a couple of 18-year olds play Ninja Gaiden and Battletoads and Dragon's Lair, etc
