The Indie Royale Harvest Bundle is up.  Normally the games found in the Indie Royale are average at best, but this bundle has a few excellent games that definitely have a great "old school" feel to it.  The current minimum is at $5.50 US, which in my opinion is worth it for Mutant Mudds alone (which is certainly one of the best new NES-style platformers I've played in years).  Pineapple Smash Crew is a great Cannon Fodder game with plenty of extras thrown in.  Haven't had a chance to play Spirits or BasketBelle yet, but the Avernum games (part 4, 5, and 6) represent old-school PC RPG games at their best, but with features that make it much more playable.

Every time I look at Mutant Mudds in the eShop, I am interested. I should really download a demo and try it out...

I'm interested in Mutant Mudds, but I'm really not a PC guy.  If the eShop version goes on sale for really cheap, I'd consider it.

I've found the the Mutant Mudd experience best with an NES controller, so I only play with the PC version, though it would be cool for a Mac and Linux port.
