The Rumble Pak was first released with Star Fox 64 in 1997, and soon became a hit. It was also released separately and used with many other games.

Trivia

This variation of the Nintendo 64 Rumble Pak came in blister packaging. This differs from the initial release only because that release came in cardboard packaging. The Rumble Pak itself was unchanged and has the same Model Number (NUS-013) and Part Number (NUS-A-PB-USA).

The blister packaging has the part number U/NUS-A-PB2-USA-1
