Trivia
  • The original Famicom with square button controllers was recalled in late 1983, due to hardware glitches that would occasionally cause the system to freeze up.
  • By the end of 1984, Nintendo switched the controller's A/B buttons to circular plastic buttons, as the original rubber square buttons would occasionally get stuck.
