Another week has come and gone, so its time for a giant list of treasure, right? Well, not this week. You see, I did a different kind of hunting this weekend. Instead of hunting for games, I was hunting for fish. Early Saturday morning, my brother-in-law, his dad, my dad, and I went fishing and stayed there until about 9:00 at night. The fishing was awesome, with the crappies biting like crazy, we kept 40 fish total. The largest was caught by yours truly, a nice big 26 inch catfish that put up one hell of a fight. I fought the thing for a solid five minutes, and my arms were burning by the end of it. But, I know you're not here to read my fishing stories, so you are in luck, I did manage to get a few nice games on Friday. Though it wasn't as much as I would have liked. Because of the fishing, I didn't get to the flea market on Sunday, so no scores from there either. After spending 13 hours on the water the day before, I was exhausted and slept in until 10AM, it felt like I had drunk a case of beer the night before. Now, since looking at just one deal might be a little boring, and my into would be longer than the meat of the blog, I thought I'd add in some more info on this week's auctions! And there are a bunch of them coming up this week! Yep, that's the only purchase of the week. Nothing super awesome or rare, but all titles I needed, or so I thought when I bought them. Turns out I already had MGS3 (so it will be available soon). The other games are all CIB and in excellent condition. The PSX games were marked $0.50 each, the PS2 game were $2 each. I got all of them for an even $5.

OK, now check out what YOU can buy! These auctions were just listed less than five minutes ago, so you guys are probably the first ones to see them. As always, the starting bid is cheap, so bid them up so I can have enough money to keep buying more games! These auctions are running a little longer than usual, I normally set them for 10 days, but these are going for 12 days since next Sunday I'm having my graduation party and I know I won't want to deal with getting them ready to ship out on Monday. So use those extra days to bid or tell your friends about them if you don't need the stuff.

I'd love to place a bid on one of your 2600s, but shipping to Canada is getting ridiculous. Plus I keep getting nailed with customs fees lately. And we are having a postal strike so it will take forever to get here. blah blah blah.
Good luck with your sales. I'll be keeping an eye on them.

@Crabmaster2000: I went to ship something to aeroc this week and heard about the postal strike. I'd rather hold onto my package instead of shipping, just in case...

No shipping to Europe....

Hey Mike, I finally found an actual flea market that has normal vendors, and found some nice stuff. Guess what? It's not in Orlando, and will be 2 minutes from where I'm moving. I may actually stop complaining now
|
@Shadow Kisuragi: Hey I am moved to Florida now. I am in Cocoa right now I went to a Flea Market today and saw some nice stuff but didn't have any cash. Let me know if you want to meet up some time. Where are you moving too?
|
@GamerNick: You should meet up with Marco and I some time. I live in Altamonte Springs right now, which is just north of downtown Orlando. I'm moving to Mount Dora, which is about 20-25 minutes away from my current location, and about 90 minutes from Cocoa.
I'm sure we can all exchange Game Guides some time

@alk: I might be willing to make an exception, depending on your (or anyone else's) feedback on GG, and/or activity on RFG.
@Shadow Kisuragi: That's great, I wish you luck in finding some awesome stuff.

Jawbreaker for the Atari 2600 and Pocky & Rocky (CIB) for the SNES were awesome finds this weekend, and I should be able to cover the cost of those by reselling the ColecoVision duplicates I picked up in the Jawbreaker lot.
I'm starting to amass a really nice ColecoVision lot at this point. I might toss it on GameGavel later tonight.
|
Might be interested in the Coleco lot. Shoot me a PM and let me know what all is in it before you throw it up there, if you haven't already.
|
Sweet, won the atari lot, will finally have a working atari. Have 4 at home bought at flea markets and they are all messed up in one way or another.
|
@CKsGallery: I was wondering if that was the same focusricerocket. I'm glad to see at least some of this stuff go to RFG members.
