See that game? That's Final Fantasy XI, a game that I have very fond memories of playing. It's an MMORPG, and the first MMO in the Final Fantasy Series. I played this game for 2 or so years before I quit due to developing an addiction to it. Still, before I quit, I had many friends in the game, and we had some good times playing it. At first, I sucked at the game, and considered quitting, but I kept pushing on, thanks to help from those friends, and I got better. As mentioned earlier, I developed an unhealthy addiction to this game, and that's what forced me to quit. This upset me, because I had many friends in the game, but for the sake of my health, I had to quit, so I did. Still, the memories I have of this game are good ones, and I doubt I'll ever forget about it. To this day, I have not enjoyed an MMO as much as I enjoyed this one. With that, I announce today that alongside Chrono Cross, another game has received a perfect 10 from me, that game being this one. If you know you can't get addicted to MMOs, then go play this game. I highly recommend it, as it really is a flawless game. Here's hoping people continue to play it, and make good friends along the way for many years to come. Smiley

I played FFXI for a time, and I enjoyed the community. Unfortunately it just turned off a lot of western games with the immense time sink it took to make almost any progression in the game.

I bought the big huge FFXI bundle that came with the HDD for the PS2 when it first launched. I had recently been enjoying the Final Fantasy series and really wanted to get the newest one. Boy was I sad when I got home and it was a MMO. I ended up selling it a couple weeks later and never regretted it. I hate MMOs.....
