Even with our committed members slaying games left and right we managed to fall a little short of our Community Goal of 300 Games beaten by March 31st. Our unflinching players are not discouraged and continue to journey towards our ultimate goal of beating the entire NES library in 2019. We still managed to defeat 282 total games last month with 52 of those being in March alone!

Our single player goal for March was to beat at least one game based off a licensed property and boy did we. We took down some solid examples of licensed games such as: Star Wars, Friday the 13th, Snoopy's Silly Sports Spectacular, Chip n Dale 2, Golgo 13, Flintstones: Rescue of Dino & Hoppy, Little Nemo: The Dream Master, and AD&D Pool of Radiance. We also took down many licensed property games that give that cringe worthy title it's commonly known for such as: Empire Strikes Back, Swamp Thing, Mad Max, Captain Planet, Adventures of Rocky & Bullwinkle, Cool World, Adventures of Gilligan's Island, Dirty Harry, and Fist of the North Star.

WHAT'S HAPPENING IN APRIL?

With our last two months falling slightly short of expectations coupled with the fact that the list of games is getting smaller and smaller I thought we'd go for a more modest goal of 335 total games beaten by April 30th this month. We basically need to do as good as we did in March with one less day to do it. And I know we can.

The personal goal this month is to get in the driver seat and beat at least one driving or cockpit view flight game in April. With the snow melting it's time to hit the road and cross some driving games off of our list which have been fairly neglected up to this point.

Here is the list of qualifying games for the personal goal this month:

Bill Elliott's Nascar Challenge
BreakThru
Bump 'n' Jump
Cobra Triangle
Days of Thunder
Eliminator Boat Duel
F-117A Stealth Fighter
Ferrari Grand Prix Challenge
