Saw Children of Men, it was wayyyy too hippie filled and anti-war and anti-America and anti-everything-but-pot-smoking-hippies.

Well I just finished up The Legend Of Zelda:  The Complete Animated Series.  I can see why it only lasted one season.

I watched Seabiscuit last night..... so so movie......

I just got done watching Apocalypse Now ...... what a hippie load of crap ...... started out good, then it just went down the shitter .....

Now, I'm gonna watch Apocalypse Now Redux just for shits and giggles......maybe the extra 49 minutes on the already long 153 minute movie will improve it .....

Apocalypse Now is probably one of my favorite movies. Simply incredible. I agree there's bull crap you don't need, but altogether it's a masterpiece. What I like is that it isn't anti-war, it's anti- way the Vietnam war was fought.

That war was a disaster because we never committed to it fully. Our generals were fighting to maintain borders, which was a major mistake, and the media and career politicians were responsible in large part for the anti-war movement which has now turned half of this country into a bunch of pansie peace-fanatics.

And the extended version doesn't really help, especially if you don't like it.

I generally like war movies and don't really take any sort of stands on war issues.......I like a good story, real or fictional.  This one started out awesome, it just went downhill sometime after I popped Disc 2 in ..... had the whole Kurtz thing been done differently, I might have liked the movie ....... he was just way to far out there for me .... way to unbelievable ... no matter how close to the truth it possibly was ....

It was crazy however seeing Ford as such a young actor....
