just watched...
Les Mistons (The Mischief Makers): Les Salades de l'amour: The Supplements: The Adventures Of Antoine Doinel: Five Films By Francois Truffaut: The Criterion Collection
- (1957) (2003) - A
Reason for score -- a nice way to close up this this set....nice introductory to see where Truffaut got his inspiration from....
watching now...
Disney's Sleeping Beauty: 50th Anniversary: Two-Disc Platinum Edition
- (1959) - A
Reason for score -- you have to love classic Disney (as opposed to most of the new junk they put out....) .... i'm saving my blu-ray copy to watch with my fiancee since it is one of her favorite movies.....it will be interesting to see the difference in image from the DVD to the Blu-Ray of this movie....

When you say that, does that include Pixar movies, as well? Because Pixar is completely owned by Disney since a couple of years.

Just finished
Dragon Ball Z
season 6 last night. That puts me at 194/291 episodes plus 2/2 TV specials and 4/9 movies viewed. I'm caught up on all that is available for now. All I can say is that 10 years later since the show ended, this has continued to be a great series.

watched yesterday and today... (just so you don't think I'm a bum or something watching all these movies, my fiancee is in California for the week, so I'm watching all the foreign films I can while she is gone since she doesn't have a huge affinity towards them....)
Also, most of the movies in the Rohmer set are either shorts, or full features that are extremely short....it looks like a lot, but I didn't spend that much time on the set....I'll finish up the rest today....
The Bakery Girl Of Monceau: Eric Rohmer's Six Moral Tales: The Criterion Collection
- (1963) - A
Reason for score -- an excellent way to start the set, really pulled me in...
Presentation Or Charlotte And Her Steak: Eric Rohmer's Six Moral Tales: The Criterion Collection
- (1960) - B-
Reason for score -- wasn't an amazing short, but it held it's own....ended abruptly though....
Nadja In Paris: Eric Rohmer's Six Moral Tales: The Criterion Collection
- (1964) - A-
Reason for score -- decent short, very documentary-esque, but good none the less....
Suzanne's Career: Eric Rohmer's Six Moral Tales: The Criterion Collection
- (1963) - A-
Reason for score -- didn't like this one too much until the end, but then it really came together...
My Night At Maud's: Eric Rohmer's Six Moral Tales: The Criterion Collection
- (1969) - A
Reason for score -- fantastic story, i can see where the critical acclaim comes from...
On Pascal: Eric Rohmer's Six Moral Tales: The Criterion Collection
- (1965) - D
Reason for score -- more or less a complete waste of time...
A Modern Coed: Eric Rohmer's Six Moral Tales: The Criterion Collection
- (1966) - C
Reason for score -- this short was nice to see, but nothing special.....more a documentary on education that anything else...
La Collectionneuse: Eric Rohmer's Six Moral Tales: The Criterion Collection
- (1967) - A
Reason for score -- an utterly fantastic story.....very well done...
The Curve: Eric Rohmer's Six Moral Tales: The Criterion Collection
- (1999) - C+
Reason for score -- to me, this doesn't fit Rohmer's style.....if I wasn't viewing it as part of the set, this short would have gotten a higher rating, but combined with the moral tales, this one doesn't do it for me...

DBZ is awesome! I remember watching it on TV every day 5 years ago. That network were a bunch of A-holes though, they'd show until the end of the Freeza saga atleast 3 times and then start over
I think I saw the Freeza saga completely atleast 2-4 times...they eventually aired the Cell/Perfect Cell saga too, but only like a year later.

watched today....
Claire's Knee: Eric Rohmer's Six Moral Tales: The Criterion Collection
- (1970) - A
Reason for score -- another great movie in the Rohmer set...
Veronique And Her Dunce: Eric Rohmer's Six Moral Tales: The Criterion Collection
- (1958) - A
Reason for score -- a good short, nice extra for the set...
Love In The Afternoon: Eric Rohmer's Six Moral Tales: The Criterion Collection
- (1972) - A
Reason for score -- a great way to finish up the Six Moral Tales set.....i highly recommend this set....

watched tonight....the first criterion i have watched in a while that didnt like....
The Complete Mr. Arkadin A.K.A. Confidential Report: The Corinth Version
- (1955) - B-
The Complete Mr. Arkadin A.K.A. Confidential Report: Confidential Report Version - European Version
- (1955) - B-
The Complete Mr. Arkadin A.K.A. Confidential Report: Comprehensive Version
- (2003) - B-
Reason for score -- i liked the concept, but it could have been so much more, but i guess the history of the movie, if you look it up, explains the lack of direction and cohesion....also, the acting was sub-par at best....

Henry V: Olivier's Shakespeare: The Criterion Collection
- (1944) - B-
Reason for score -- decent film, i wasn't blown away by any means, but it was good none the less...
Hamlet: Olivier's Shakespeare: The Criterion Collection
- (1948) - A
Reason for score -- i didn't know it until i started watching it, but i had seen this one before, way back when in high school....good movie...
Richard III: Olivier's Shakespeare: The Criterion Collection
- (1955) - B+
Reason for score -- reasonably good movie, but the young kids in it are terrible actors....oh well....

Indy 4 was not bad. Considering the old ones get A+, this one gets a solid B.

The alien stuff just didn't fit in. This movie seemed like an after-thought (which I guess it was.) Didn't seem to match up with the rest of the series.
