^ Like I said, it was high at the time but TG-16 prices have skyrocketed since then. Back then, Magical Chase was $1000.

I think Ray might be quite low on that one. I havnt seen one sell in quite a while, but last ones I saw were more like $800-1000. And with how everything TG has spiked lately I'd be super surprised id it didn't jump past $1000 for a good condition on unit.

Thanks, that's about what I was thinking it might be now. I don't feel so bad about the lot I jumped on. I think the guy had the same problem as me and couldn't find a US PAC to compare it to so he priced it like it was a Japanese PAC.

I don't really know because I wasn't looking for one at that time but that seemed low to me for just 2~3 years ago compared to what I remembered them going for in the late 2000's. I'm just glade they didn't drop in price or if they did for a while they came back.

Thanks guys!

Thinking back, it was more of 5-6 years ago. I've lost a lot of time in my head. :/

lol yea I know that feeling. That makes more sense that's around the time I got my current Laseractive with the Genesis and PC-engine PACs for about $400~$500 so $900~$1,000 for everything US would have been a pretty common asking prices at that time.

My coworker's PS3 died and he asked if I wanted to buy his stuff.  What is a fair offer for this lot.

I was thinking 50. So I was about right on then.  I'll probably flip the dualshock 3's and keep the games.

Yeah 2 to $3 each on the games and around $15 each for the controllers. That puts you in the 50 to $60 range

Not a price check exactly, but I came across an opportunity and I'm really not certain if it's worth considering. A guy in a local LGS group wants to trade a copy of Little Samson for a copy of Surprise at Dinosaur Peak, straight up. Price Charting currently has Little Samson at around $300 pricier than Dino Peak, though I'm reasonably certain that the latter is a lot rarer (and would be harder to get another copy of later on). I have a very nice Dino Peak, and do not really want to part with it, but I would really love a copy of Little Samson. Ugh.

Assuming everything is legit and the condition of the game is fine, would you do this?

Samson is a much better game, and I would expect the value difference to increase over Flintstones. I'd do the deal.

Would depend greatly on the working condition and completeness of the ROBs. In my experience, most would probably be non-working. The value is really in the stands and tops, which are usually missing. Robots go anywhere from $35-$50 alone and complete can fetch much more if working. Unless I could test them, my offer would be $25 - $30 each. Chiller is around $50, so with the rest of the lot, I'd see if $150 or $175 would take it. Wouldn't pay over $200. Just my thoughts but others should weigh in. And oh yeah, if you get it, sell me a ROB please. Smiley

Also, try to make them make the first offer. You may get lucky and they offer you considerably less, or you might be able to gauge how far off their rocker they are in term of value. If the former, congratulations, if the later, make an offer you think fair and then walk away if it doesn't pan out.
