Ah well at least my dog's in a better place... In other news I just saw the most hilarious commercial for a show ever. It's on Animal Planet and it's called Whale Wars. So it starts with this guy on an iceberg saying "MAN! Everya' day in Aunt-ar-tee-KA! Thousands of whales are keeleed by the Japanese! So where going ta fight back!" And then it goes on to show some guys flipping over a bunch of Japanese life boats and nailing a guy in the head with a fish. Reason #317 the world hates America.

It's a show about taking down whale poachers. Why would people hate us for that? Watch more previews. There are clips of those same Japanese ships opening fire onto the American ships.

Yeah, I don't think the world would hate us from keeping the crazy Japanese from poaching whales.

I would go as far as to say that they'd probably applaud it.

But I must admit I'm glad RFG is more mature than that. Doing it every now and then for jokes is fine by me, but if it would really be used in regular posts as well (as is the case on some internet forums) it'd become irritating to me.

That wasn't leetspeak... It is called transliteration, which is writing words as they sound, not as they are spelled.

So becomes soh (h sound on the end) conversation becomes kohnviersayshun (hard c, h sound, say, tion = shun), etc. It is almost like what they do in dictionary's, minus diacriticals.
