Apparently if you buy the Guitar Hero 3 soundtrack it gives you access to a 2-3 songs that you cannot get otherwise.

Just a heads up for those who own it.
I know you can still get the soundtrack at BestBuy

It comes with a code to redeem in your Live account and it'll prompt you to download the three songs.

Umm... I think one was an AFI song, one a Flyleaf song, and I don't remember the third...

Yea it came with a code in it.
You enter it and they give you new dloads.
