Well, I've decided that I need to be a cib snob. Effective January 1, 2008, all games other than NES, SNES, N64, GB, GBC, GBA, Atari (All), and SegaGG must be cib. (Includes SMS, Genesis, SCD, Saturn, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Gamecube, 32X)

This is going to be a hard path to take.

First task, Get all my non cib games cib.

Any tips?

Look for game lots.
Loose box/manuals, maps, etc.

Sometimes it can be cheaper to complete a game you already have instead of buying a complete copy outright.

Also you can always resell or trade a loose copy once you get a complete one Wink

That shouldn't be too hard to do.  The games you want complete (aside from a few Genesis and 32X games) come in cases/boxes that people generally saved over the years, so they're not too hard to find at least boxed.  I don't even try for CIB but most of my Genesis games are CIB and all my 32X games are CIB.  And only a handful of those others are not CIB, except Dreamcast, only 1/3 or so are CIB.

So I think what you're trying to do is easily doable.  Now, if you wanted your entire collection CIB, that's a little tougher.  But, from looking at your collection, only 45 of your games that you want to be CIB are not, so it shouldn't be too hard to track down missing boxes or manuals.

I would think the best place to get manual or box only would be the forums here or DigitPress.  Just make a post of what you need, and it shouldn't be too long before you'll have what you want.

Good luck our wayward son.

A non-CIB collection for disc-based games shouldn't be hard to come by, though you can't give in to buy heavily discounted loose games.  Plus most disc-based games seem to shelf and display well together, making storage and display much easier.

Or look for cheap stuff on ebay. That always works.

Good lad!!!!!!! Why not the rest? You can't be a turn snob with going for all of them CIB. I use to say I didn't care about CIB 2600 games but that changed over time.
