Missing Pictures/Scans

I thought this would be a neat feature to have:

I belong to a comic collecting website aswell, and if, say, you own Action Comics #455, and there isn't a scan, It has a little check by the 'needs scan' field. Could this be implimented with the collection database? It would help, so that we don't have to keep looking around and stuff on the whole website.

This seems like a feature that wouldn't take long to add and would be useful for those who submit scans.  I'll see if I can whip something up tomorrow.

Edit: I was able to get a working prototype up and working, but I haven't merged it into the main script yet.  I should be able to get to it before the end of the week.

PS: Are you a self taught perl programmer, or did you take a class/classes? The site is mostly bug free, whitch is very good!

Self-taught, and if the site is bug free, it's because of a lot of trial and error

One last thing to add.   I extended the feature to only show "needed" scan links for games which you own (have a QTY field of at least 1).  Or if it needs a manual scan, it will show the needed link if you have at least 1 in the manual field.

Awesome job Eddie!  I just discovered that a few scans in the US NES database are missing (I was pretty sure we had completed this section with scans a while back, tho).

The link for this feature (and several others that don't have homes yet) will be added to a special page that will be added to the collection tools.  I'm planning on getting this new page out, along with some other new features, before the end of the year.

In the meantime, just use the links in this thread.  You can bookmark them if you don't feel like navigating the forums to find them.
