Had a Mojito yesterday. Made it myself. Smiley

I was following instructions (I have a jigger) but because I was using a larger glass than in the book I tried to double the ingredients. I think I didn't do the proportions right because I barely tasted any rum in there (is that normal?) but it was good anyway.

Isn't that the point of a mixed drink in the first place?

That's good to hear, so I didn't do anything wrong after all. Smiley

Mojitos I've had taste like sugar and peppermint. The friend of mine who makes them grows copious amounts of peppermint, and as such her drinks are filled with the stuff. Dangerous!

Right now I have some Bass, my favorite beer I think.

I had a Twisted Tea Raspberry earlier.

Not a huge fan of the tea.

Have you tried Tanqueray Ten? It's much better than Bombay, in my opinion.

I went to a Turkish restaurant tonight and had two Turkish's beers, Efes Lager and Efes Dark.  The lager was not much different from a Budweiser, and the dark tasted a lot like Warsteiner Dunkel, which is a very good beer.

I've not tried the Ten, but I have had the standard, and didn't really care for it.  I'll pick up a bottle when I'm next in the need.
