Well, Today out of the blue. I was laid off.  The railroad that I work for has not laid off for 30 years. And now BAM.

I was not givin any notice. Just a letter, and thanks alot.

They cut five jobs in my department.  I loved this job and it was the best job I have ever had. Not necessarily the best paying, But the Best none the less.

We work on seniority, so it doesn't matter that management likes me b/c I show up everyday and bust my @$$.

I have a 9 month old baby and another on the way.  I don' t know what I'm going to do.

Anyway, don't be suprised if you end up seing my entire collection up for sale soon.

File for unemploiment first off.  It isnt a perminent fix, but it'll help out more then selling your collection probly would.  Go down to your local work source and sign up for their job finder as well.  That's about the only real advice I can give you.

It doesn't pay what I was making, But it is money coming in. You know what I mean.

She is.  I've been there before and I did regret it.  Good luck with the prospects, if the pay covers your bills and gives you a little spending money it's some comfert.  Also you may want to look at your personal finances to see if any expenses can be cut and what cant.
