I would like to see a sequel of Haunting off the genesis. I love that game! plus the way it ended left you hanging.

If your PC can run it you should pick up a copy of Ghost Master.  The premise is the same as the Haunting, but you need to achieve different objectives than just scaring residents, and it has recruiting and experience building for all your ghosts.  The game was released a few years ago and reminded me of the Haunting almost immediatly.

I'm still waiting for a sequel to Shadowrun.  I heard that a MMORPG was in the works for it, but I'm a hermit so online games are off the radar.  I would be very content with even a remake of the genesis version.  Maybe it is just me but the Shadowrun games were my favorites during the 16-bit era.  I would also like to see a sequel to Fallout that does the series justice.  All the Fallout 3 talk quickly faded, and I'm just waiting to here some news.

Haunting was a really cool game, and was the reason why I got Ghost Master for the PC as from the back it looked like Haunting meets the sims.

Thrasher: Skate and Destroy
A sequel of that would be awsome.
Thrasher is one of the best skateboarding games ever made.
...and the music is so cool.

You know what's so weird, one of the games that I listed as me wanting a sequel was Diddy Kong Racing.  Well, I just got my NUON in the mail recently with a game called "Merlin Racing" and it is VERY similar to Diddy Kong Racing.  Really fun game.  It came out in about 2000...The NUON only had like 7 official release or so.  Tempest 3000 is SICK too...

For the record, Chrono Trigger has no sequel. Chrono -----, which will forever be known only as Chrono -----, or if spoken Chrono <BLEEP>, is not a sequel. Akira Toriyama would roll over in his grave if he saw that abomination.

But Akira Toriyama is still alive and kicking?

I agree with your comment though.

I'm going to say Nights into Dreams, although that's one of the things that makes it so special. My brother said Goldeneye 007. Oh and of course Super Street Fighter II Turbo.

A few I enjoyed and wished a sequal had been released for.  That or wished they'd released the sequal for in the states.
Arcana
Great Greed
the Legend of Dragoon
Operation Logic Bomb
Shadow Madness
Persona 2 (the half we didnt get)
Sky Shark
Zanac
the Guardian Legend
Hoshigami
Thousand Arms

There are more but that's off the top of my head.

good call! it's one of the underrated turn based strategy games out there...and it's actually a LucasArts game, too. definitely needs a next-gen iteration.

and on that note, Wrath: Unleashed could use a sequel too. it was definitely a flawed game, but with some good initial mechanics. It reminded me of Master of Monsters for the Genesis, but not as polished.

another one is Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects. some good mechanics and ideas, but overall a disappointing game with balance issues. give it an overhall, fix the problems (add 4P simultaneous offline, too, a la Def Jam), and part 2 could definitely succeed.

What happened to LucasArts? The last I heard of them was Escape from Monkey Island.

Edit: Oh yeah, all the Star Wars games. That's a little boring.

They've been focusing on the PC with their MMO lately. No word on any console releases... Sad

Oh and of course Super Street Fighter II Turbo.

Hasn't there been about 200 SF games made since SF II Turbo?

I know, I was joking. That was the SF game with the silliest title. I actually just said the name randomly and later found out that it was indeed a real game. I"m glad someone finally noticed.
