Yeah, I know, I am a total Nintendo Fanboy, no need to let me know.

Shenmue II, because Yu Suzuki will never follow through.

Okay, so you want a real one?  Gotta be StarCraft.  People are still playing that game online and in tournaments 10 years later.  Second choice is Duck Hunt.  Its a tough call, which means I should try new stuff.

Crazy Taxi.

OatBob, I wouldn't expect Blizz to make anything but MMORPGs from here on out.  They found out that MMORPGs print money.

As a matter of fact...I'm selling Crazy Taxi 2 on eBay as I type this! Cheesy Wink

Another game that needs a TRUE sequel is Yoshi's Island...Yoshi's story is quite a bit different from YI...And not really near as good.  It's good, but YI is pretty much perfect.

Yeah, I know there was a Crazy Taxi 2, but the series seems to have died.  I would so buy it if there was a Wii Crazy Taxi.

What about Crazy Taxi 3? I got it for PC Tongue
Nights into dreams....
And it better stay that way, that game was magical and if Sonic Team piss on my memories with a Next Gen sequel I'll spit in their face.

Same goes for Burning Rangers. The Saturn is where those games rocked, and should stay.
Yep, I'm a Saturn Otaku.

Planescape Torment never had a sequel, but it should get one.

A sequel to Jade Empire might be good too, but I'm not entirely sure.

Uniracers is indeed bad ass. I bought that game when it first came out, and played the hell out of it up until the N64 came out.

There are so many awesome games the never spawned sequals. Right off the top of my head...
General Chaos (Genesis)
Stunt Race FX (SNES)
UN Squadron (SNES/Arcade)
Rock N' Roll Racing (SNES/Genesis/GBA)
Captain Commando (SNES/Arcade/XBox/PS2/PSP)
Chakan: The Forever Man (Genesis/Game Gear)
...and the list goes on.

One of my favorite games that never spawned a sequal was Black Tiger by Capcom released back in '87. It was only released in the arcades, and never got ported to the NES. I was lucky enough to have access to a Black Tiger cabinet growing up, as there was one in the arcade at my mom's work place. It looks and plays alot like Castlevania, but the added twist of being able to buy weapon upgrades, and health from shops made it pretty sweet. Why this game never got ported back in the day, yet games like Section Z, and Trojan were, still boggles my mind. It finally got ported to the Xbox, PS2, and PSP last year, as part of the Capcom Classics Collection.

personally i think all these game were utter shit, the problem with sequels they aren't always as good as the first ones like Project Gotham Racing 3 is wank yet Street Fighter 2......

It might not just be sequels that didn't get made but ones that didn't get translated like i wanted Bust a Groove 2 but its only in Japan

Heheh...  to each their own. Tongue

I thought Rock n' Roll racing, Stunt Race FX, and General Chaos were fun with two players.
Chakan is an aquired taste. The game is hella evil, and the music is pretty weird, still with some tweaks, I think it could have evolved into a pretty sweet franchise.

On the topic of imports, I really wish that alot more of the "Kunio-kun" series would have made it across seas. All we got were Renegade, River City Ransom, Super Dodge Ball, Crash 'n the Boys: Street Challenge and Nintendo World Cup, and later that crappy Super Dodge Ball revision, and River City Ransom DX on the GBA.

Secret of Mana 2 should have made it over here as well. :/
