Is it a sequel?  I remember playing this game a while ago where you pilot a blue plane, take off from an aircraft carrier and bomb the shit out of tanks and jeeps on islands set to either side of the aircraft carrier.  You didn't have much freedom with the plane, you could either ascend or descend altitude, and pressing the opposite direction would stall your plan for a moment (or if you held down the opposite direction you would reverse direction).  For the life of me I can't remember the name of the game. If anyone knows the game I'm talking about slap a #2 at the end of it and I'll bet that you are right.

Sounds like you're talking about Wings of Fury, but this isn't anything to do with that game.

The game my screenshot is from also came out on the CD32.

Damn you've just made my sarcasm detector explode!

Ok to really narrow it down seeing as no one appears to have a clue, the game starts with J

Looking at our database it could be:

James Pond 2: Codename RoboCod
Jeanne d'Arc
Jim Power in Mutant Planet
Jimmy White's 'Whirlwind' Snooker
Jurassic Park

I'm willing to put someone else's money on Jimmy White's 'Whirlwind' Snooker.

Or Jetstrike. Cool

The size of the screenshot is a clue to what system it's on. And it's in color...

Arrgh of course it is!

It's 007 - The World is Not Enough

Don't think I'd have remembered if it wasn't for shoes23 though, so I say shoes23 should have the next go.
