Darkened Skye. You can't mistake that hair anywhere else.
Considering my track record, I'll let someone else post.

Shadow got it, and I am thankful he did. It is a decent game and I am glad someone else (Addicted) immediately knew the Skittles reference. 24 hours for anyone to post a screenshot. Otherwise, I will do another. Smiley

Jane's Advanced Strike Fighters. Not as good as Ace combat for me, but a good game nonetheless. When I saw this in Gamestop, I thought by the side label originally it said JSRF, not JASF. I got excited at the thought of another JSRF game.

JASF has some of the worst voice acting and dialogue in any game I have ever played.

With that said nice call on JASF Ray LOL

Next up, another game from a smaller company, but at least it was released on more than just the 'Cube.

@Boshamp: Just the sight of that screenshot looks painful.

Darkened Skye was also released on the PC... and it's not in the database.

I've never seen it for PC. But just for the fact that the games weren't broken up into generations, I don't tend to count them within my collection. If it was separated by OS or something that I could keep track of, I might think differently. But I am just too ignorant and uneducated when it comes to PC stuff.

Not Geist. This company made five games before they changed their name. 3 out of those 5 were from the same series. This game was released for GC, XBOX, PS2, and WIN.

Boshamp, it's simple - PC games are just one really long generation haha.

(No but seriously it is easier to think of them in regards to OS's, yeah).

I just wish it was more formal, or that PC OS's were released more like consoles. But that is why people love/hate PC's so much is that they differ from consoles. There have been some fantastic games on PC, but not being able to play the older stuff on newer OS's is a huge turn off for me.

Another hint for the game above, hopefully someone will get it from this: The game to me mixed gameplay from the Timesplitters and Metal Gear Solid series's, using your character's psychic powers for defense over offense was the key to playing. Being detected would trigger alarms just like MGS, so using your second sight psychic powers for healing wounds and being stealthy were the point of the game over rushing through commando style.

@boshamp, the older games not working on newer OS's is exactly the same as older console games not working on newer consoles...sometimes there's backwards compatibility a generation or two back, but never farther. PC can actually go farther than that in most cases, it just takes a couple extra steps, but there's very little you can't play on windows 7 (not sure about 8 ), especially if you use DOSBox.

going by shadow's hint, is it Second Sight?
