Tweaked one of my Far Cry maps for this Friday's gaming session.
Downloaded the new Halo 2 maps to the 360. Still getting an error when attempting to download them to the original Xbox, though. Apparantly, the servers are still overstressed according to customer service. Hopefully, I'll still be able to download them by this Friday.

Good man!
360 or PC?
Played more GH2 on the 360 last night. Passed another 8 songs on Hard; which brings the total to 28/48. Still haven't 5-starred 2 songs on Medium...damn Institutionalized! I did beat my previous high score on it, though.

PLayed some Crackdown on the 360 last night. So far I am having the same problem I do when playing a GTA game. I have no clue what I am doing other then killing people. The game keeps telling me all these different goals but no clue on how to do them or where to go to do them.

Been playing a bit of LOTR: BRME II. If C&C is anything like it i'll probably pass on it. The controls for me work flawlessly and fast, eyecandy/sound is good. It doesn't give me so much a feeling that I'm playing a RTS as it does a game like say Dynasty Warriors or Kingdom under Fire. The actual building is very "lite" almost an afterthought with few options. You don't even need strategies other than "overwhelming numbes" to defeat the AI under any difficulty.
I give it a 7.5/10 because it's still a fun game in short bursts that has small maps and easy to pick up, but it's definately not what i was expecting.

Crackdown is a "sandbox" game, but I don't feel as though it's anything like GTA.
When you get a popup of a boss dossier, it means that their hideout is close. At that point, pause it and go to the map and you should see an icon for where they're located. There's 2 types of icons you can access (scrolling left or right) on the map menu: the agency supply points are one, and where the gang bosses are located is the other. There may even be a 3rd but I don't remember.
Also, the game is very "vertical", so getting the green orbs to pump up your agility will help you get to areas you need to go to much quicker...especially if the area is a boss "hideout". Further, there's a lot of window ledges you can hang onto and jump upwardly from when scaling buildings to get up to various locations.
Hope this helps.

So it's basically GTA with some Platforming/collecting elements.

Not like GTA. In GTA you have missions and stuff that you have to go on. Crackdown is more freeform. Find the bosses, take 'em down. Do some rooftop/auto checkpoint races to improve your skills. Blow a LOT OF STUFF UP!!! A total playground of destruction. But don't kill civilians...it will take away from your skill progression.

The green orbs are the one with a running guy on them. The blue ones have a question mark and can be anywhere...from ground level up. Most of the green orbs are elevated on top of something, whether it's a ledge, rooftop, statue, etc... and you have to find a way to get to them, either by jumping up to rooftops, moving objects around to get a better elevation to get to them, etc.; they're a mini-challenge all their own.

Started some arena teams in WoW. My teammate in 2v2 seemed to figure out what was going on so we're doing OK their, although we got out to a rough start and are out geared by absolutely everyone.
My 5v5 team is sucktacular.
