I got Tomb Raider Legend yesterday and I'm already pretty much finished now. I've just got Nepal and about five minutes of England to do.

I haven't played TR:L in a long time. My last save I had was Japan.

Played more GH2 this weekend.

I finished Tomb Raider in 6 hours 46 minutes. Shorter than I thought. It was fun, though.

I may or may not go through again for the time trials and Artifacts.

More GH2 on 360.

5-starred another song on medium. Only 5 more to go: Psychobilly Freakout, Carry Me Home, Institutionalized, Hangar 18, and Free Bird.

I also beat another song on Hard difficulty.

Tan was talking in the Chat about the Spectrum database and how there aren't many games entered, so I dug mine out to put the games in. But I can't find a cable I need to play cassette games. I've got a Spectrum +3 which has a floppy disk drive but no tape deck, so I need to use a walkman with a headphone-to-headphone cable.

I played some floppy disk games on it. Arkanoid was the only one I got into. Tank was straightforward. There was some weird one about a pig with bombs but I could only manage to move it up and down and crouch.

Edit: Found the cable, now to find out if all the magnetic tapes have worn out.

Edit2: I got a tape to load but after waiting for a few minutes it turned out to be an introduction to the Spectrum and how the hardware works.

Then I tried loading Cookie. It took ages, then it came up with a loading error.

I tried Ghostbusters. It took something like four or five minutes to load. It started off amusingly but then I ran out of lives and it made me reload the game to start a new one. Sod that.

More GH2 last night. I only have 2 songs left on Medium that I need to 5-star. And I've passed my way into the 4th set on Hard...mostly 3-starring all but 1 song.

Monkey Wrench seems like it should be a tier 1-3 song instead of tier 4 and Woman seems like it should be higher than just a tier 2.

I beat Fable, now playing Ninja Gaiden for Xbox.

Ok, fuck Ninja Gaiden.  It's too damn hard.  I can't beat the second level boss!  I'm going onto Metroid Prime 2 for the GC.

Lot's of Colin McRae 04 and Ultra Bust-A-Move lately, with a bit of Beyond Good & Evil and Deus Ex Invisible War thrown in for good measure.

I stopped playing Gears of War a while ago after I finished Act 1 and decided to do it on Hardcore. I went back to it today and remembered why I put it down. I was stuck on one bit, doing it over and over again. After twenty minutes of doing the same room again today I finally got to the next checkpoint.

Is it really necessary for me to revive the other people? I kept going off to do my own thing then I got the damn red circle on the right of the screen saying someone was hurt. Every time I went back to help them I was killed in a second.

Another thing that annoys me is when I try using the chainsaw. I get near an enemy then hold B down and I just stand there while the enemy kills me with two punches.

I became my guild's champion in WoW when I beat one of our former officers, who supposedly had never been beat before (I don't believe that) and who was a righteous jackass for abandoning us, at a duel.

Yeah. You have to still use the cover system when going back to revive teammates. Don't forget you can use the command menu to direct them (left bumper or D-pad I think).

When you go in for the chainsaw kill, be SURE you can pull off the move! You have to rev it up just before attacking them. Because if you do so too soon they could shoot you, which forces you to lower your weapon (and consequently the saw). Once you get the timing of it down, it'll never get old...

I just found the this to be hilarious. I haven't played Ninja Gaiden yet and i never ended up finishing MP2. I don't remember what game took precedence over it at the time...

Playing Black once again.
I've put in about 2 hours and i am 9% thru the game. I think alot of that is because i dilly dally. Check every route, take my time to get headshots when i am not exploding an enemy or using a shotty, doing my best to complete every objective.

I get pretty pissed when i miss an objective because i spend what feels like forever wandering about checking every little nook and cranny.

Hearing about people blowing thru the game in 4 or so hours really makes me think they went for the bare minimum of objectives and completion.
That and they were bitches and played thru on only easy.

Yea just checked gamefaqs.
I could probably breeze thru the last 5 levels tonight and "beat the game" and go back for 100% later.
Apparently to get 100% you have to beat every difficulty. Which is lame. When i beat something on hard i shouldn't have to double back and waste time beating normal and easy.
