I played the Perfect Dark Zero demo on the 360. Utter crap. Basic graphics, everything looked too plastic. Enemies had really cheesy deaths, then bounced all over the place with their limbs flailing everywhere. I gave up when I got to an enemy shooting a wall in the opposite direction to where I was. Stupid AI, stupid physics, stupid graphics. Stupid graphics because I couldn't tell if it was trying to be realistic or cartoony.

I have the full version of PDZ, and it's nowhere near as bad as the demo.
Granted, the art style is somewhat cartoonish. But I think that's what they were going for...something Lara Croft-ish.

I actually played and beaten PDZ all the way through. I'm not much of a FPS fan if that says anything. It sure as hell had allot of PD/Goldeneye feel about it. I know allot of that team went to Free Radical, I can feel it when I play Timesplitters. But man you sure can tell Rare still has a few of them when you play PDZ. The multiplayer even more so.
I agree the demo was pure crap. The game barely even made gold status when they were running for the door to get it pressed, not surprising the demo was so rough around the edges. I'm looking forward to the sequel coming out.

Didn't know that a sequel was in the works...

I restarted Act 1 of Gears of War on Hardcore and it doesn't seem much harder. I just die a bit quicker and have less ammo when I get a refill. I'm still dying about the same amount of times.
I played the demo for Monster Madness but couldn't get into it. I could see it being somewhat fun but I kept getting stuck in a corner with zombies pushing against me. It seems like a game that I could enjoy after a while.
I also played the Tomb Raider demo. It was surprisingly easy after I played through a lot of it on the Xbox 1. I think I might buy it again for the 360 because I thought it was fun when I had it, and it's quite cheap now. It shows how far the 360's graphics have come. It has sharp edges on cliff faces, which is the most notable thing that doesn't seem to happen so much any more. I suppose I was ignoring that the early games' graphics weren't as advanced when I played the PDZ demo.

I served the Macedonians a stunning defeat last night. Their six star pwnmaster general with a full stack army of crack infantry attacked my two star general's full stack of cheap mercenaries.
He lost because he had no cavalry or ranged troops. I met his center and left line with Greek mercenary hoplites and pressured his right side with a mass of Gaul barbarians and Thracian infantry.
It was looking bad and I was about to sound the retreat to save my general but I figured I'd go crazy. The center line was bending so that there was a small hole in the Macedonian phalanx and I charged all my archer units into that. They can't melee worth a crap but they screwed up the Macedonian center. In the meantime I charged my general's cavalry into the already pressured Macedonian right.
My general managed to turn the flank and my mass of gauls and Thracians slammed into the unorganized center. My general again saved the day by hitting their spearmen from the rear and causing a panic; unfortunately he also got killed doing this when their wanker general hit my general from the rear.
After this my infantry and light cavalry killed their general and chased down almost all the rest of the routing bastards. Only around fifty of them got away.
And I can't find my damn PSX memory card to save SoTN on

Played some Hitman Contracts on the Xbox. I'm out of practice, so I'm a mass murder.

I got Tomb Raider Legend for the Xbox 360 today, so I've obviously been playing it. It's a lot easier than I remember, even on hard. It's decent.

Went back to play some WoW and was helping out some low level guildies when an epic bow dropped. It's the first epic world drop I've ever seen.
It went to a paladin because the hunter in the group wanted to be fair...
Retarded.
