I trod on my belt buckle again. Sad

Wow, if you search google for "trod belt buckle" your post is number 3 on the list.

That said, what does that mean?

Stepped on his belt buckle again. To James I say... pick up your room son!

I can't wait for the end of days.

At the end of days, at the end of time
When the Sun burns out will any of this matter?
Who will be there to remember who we were?
Who will be there to know that any of this had meaning for us?

And in retrospect I'll say we've done no wrong
Who are we to judge what's right and what has purpose for us?
With designs upon ourselves to do no wrong
Running wild unaware of what might come of us

The Sun was born, so it shall die
So only shadows comfort me
I know in darkness I will find you giving up inside like me
Each day shall end as it begins
And though you're far away from me
I know in darkness I will find you giving up inside like me

The Sun was born, so it shall die
So only shadows comfort me
I know in darkness I will find you giving up inside like me
Each day shall end as it begins
And though you're far away from me
I know in darkness I will find you giving up inside like me

Without a thought I will see everything eternal
Forget that once we were just dust from heavens far
As we were forged we shall return, perhaps some day
I will remember us and wonder who we were

The Sun was born, so it shall die
So only shadows comfort me
I know in darkness I will find you giving up inside like me
Each day shall end as it begins
And though you're far away from me
I know in darkness I will find you giving up inside like me

The Sun was born, so it shall die
So only shadows comfort me
I know in darkness I will find you giving up inside like me
Each day shall end as it begins
And though you're far away from me
I know in darkness I will find you giving up inside like me

What a crap day at work. The "team leader" was a complete loser on a power trip. He was the kind of loser who chats up 24 year old chav women with 9 year old children with classic lines like "I once fell out of a two story building and didn't go to hospital." and "I got mugged last month but I just laughed at them." Later he used lines such as "I've been stabbed before." I wonder if it says anything about him that people treat him as an easy target. He also had brown teeth.

I had the stupid thought of buying myself a Canon 400D DSLR camera. Stupid in that once I have the thought I become fixated and eventually end up spending £400 on one. They have £50 cashback until the end of the year, so it's more around £350. That's a lot of money and I've only just had my birthday. I have the money but it's taken me a couple of months to save that much alongside my normal spending.

We've got an old Canon EOS 350 SLR film camera which was great but it's not digital so we stopped using it ages ago. Our point-and-shoot digital cameras are ok but the're nothing special.

Someone talk me out of it before I whip my card out!

It seems I'm going to be getting one for Christmas. I'll be buying it. Mum says she'll get £50 to contribute, then there's £50 cashback from Canon until the end of the year, so it's more likely to cost me £300.

we've had snow and freezing rain all day here in southern Minn.

At least our new dog likes to romp and play in the snow.
