Actually, I go to class in the morning before it gets light out and generally leave campus after it gets dark during the winter.....

But yeah, thats only certain days.  Weekends are still open for now.

Holy hell!

Well, to be fair that will only be representative of my Wednesdays this semester.  Three hour lab at 7:30 in the morning, which is before the sun is up, and I have normal class till 5:30 which will be dark or close to dark by the time Winter rolls around.   It's going to be fun.
Oh and Sat. and Sun mornings will be spent in a lab.

I think it is. I head that if you are in an Engineering College the violations begin on day two.

Nah, they give you 5 or 6 easy weeks and then all hell breaks loose.

Hell, MSOE was hell after the first day.

Last weekend was my first weekend in charge of the Cafe.

On Saturday morning the manager came in to check we were ok for opening and to tell us the system, menu and prices were changing from right then. That was nice of them to give us some warning. Roll Eyes Saturday went ok, except for a few things here and there, mainly because of the new system. The manager came in when we were nearly closed to check on us again.

Then on Sunday I was left in charge all by myself. I opened up and started getting everything ready before most of the others were there. Two people called in to say they "had the flu" which obviously means they were hungover. Then it turned out we had almost no sausages for the brunch, so we had to get some more quickly from a local shop.

Then half an hour after opening, I noticed the old woman who works there had done nothing but sit down reading the paper all morning. Being the person who makes sure people do their jobs, I asked her to stand up. But she blew up and starting raving "Why are you so fucking bossy?!..... trying to drive me out of a job... male chauvaunist pig..." She went on but I stopped listening after that.

I ignored her for the rest of the day.

Then when I went into work in the kitchen today I mentioned it to the manager and she said the woman would get a formal warning.Cheesy

While in the kitchen I made a pecan tart. The recipe book said one portion had 1000 calories. Shocked It was basically a sugar pastry base, with a mix of sugar, treacle, eggs, and butter on top, then covered in nuts.

Hmm, I think I need about thirty of those pecan tarts a day so I can gain some weight.

And tell those old ladies who's boss! I hate old people at the workplace, I'm sorry but I find it retarded when companies hire old people to do a young persons job just because they have to have diverse employees. At Kroger they hired a sixty year old lady to work Grocery wehn Grocery particularily asked for a young person who could handle the weight and work fast.

And they're always in the way.

GO SIT IN YOUR FUCKING HOUSE AND GET OUT OF MY WAY STUPID OLD PEOPLE!

I wish I was a viking, raiding and pillaging *sigh*

Naptime.

I've decided I'm definitely going to get an Xbox 360 some time soon. It should take me a month to save up for the premium and a couple of games. Payday is next week, so it would be 5 weeks from now.

I have about £1,400 right now. But most of it is in my savings account, and once I reach a £100 mark, I don't like going under it. Which means I have whatever is in my spending account. At the moment, that's about £4.50.

I'm just worried I'm going to buy one then the price will come down a month later. About £30 wouldn't be too bad. But if it came down to £200 for the premium, instead of £280, I'd be pretty gutted. $150 may sound like a huge price drop, but the PS2 came down by £100 after a year.

As for your job and old people, well anyone really if your in charge your in charge, tell to get a shift on do there work and if they dont like it to fuck off as theres always more people out there needing a job and will take less wages.
