I went to a few thrift stores yesterday and all saw was classic, big and and 1940-1950 shit. I did see 1-5 soundtracks for movies I have heard of but no rock n roll. I have never seen any rock n roll records at thrift shops.

my Salvation Army score from the weekend:

Stephen Stills - 2
Stephen Stills - Stills
Stephen Stills - Thoroughfare Gap
Stephen Stills - Illegal Stills
Boomtown Rats - V Deep
Alan Parsons Project - Eve
Rick Wakeman - The Six Wives of Henry VIII
Anthony Burgess Reads A Clockwork Orange
Roxy Music - SIren
War - Why Can't We Be Friends
B-52's - Whammy
Uriah Heep - Demons And Wizards
Kinks - Greatest Hits
Santana - Greatest Hits
Bruce Springsteen - The Wild, The Innocent and the E-Street Shuffle
Frankie Goes To Hollywood - Welcome To The Pleasuredome
Rick Derringer - All American Boy
Beach Boys - Wild Honey
Paul Revere And The Raiders - Spirit Of '67
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here

45's

Blues Brothers - "B" Movie Box Car Blues/Rubber Biscuit
Boys Don't Cry - I Wanna Be A Cowboy
Jimmy "Spiderman" Allen - Another One Bites The Dust/ Spider's Delight (this was a parody of the Queen song done by a guy from the Detroit Lions. They started the season on a long win streak and made this song. They spoke too soon as obviously the did not win the Super Bowl that year... or ever. A nice piece of Detroit sports history cheese though.)

Damn, and also that Clockwork Orange soundtrack is hot, I want that to, if possible to be correct hehe...

Found that 2001 Space Odyssey soundtrack also? Just pick it up, I would be very pleased with that one! Thanks in advance.

the Clockwork Orange record is not a soundtrack. It's Anthony Burgess reading excerts from the book.

Sounds even better than a soundtrack...

Both movies are from the director Stanley Kubrick, thats why they are wanted by me...

Still had that 2001 copy up there?

I finall got a record player, its an old one with an 8 track, cassette player and AM/FM Tuner.  Its in sad shape now, but looks like it was a nice one when it was new.

I also got some more records, Queen- "The Game" and "A night at the opera" for 50 cents.  Also got Eagles- "The long run" and Styx- "The grand illusion".  For 50 cents each.
