GTA3: Is $9 a good deal for this CIB?

IMO it is a good price.
It isn't likely to drop much lower anytime soon.
If you wait another year or 2 it might get down to 5$.

I have seen GTA 3 as low as $7, so 9 isn't bad.  You might want to wait until The next buy two get one free sale at EB or Gamestop though.  You can get two more games that are around that price and cut the overall cost for all of them that way.

Yeah. I think I'll get it. Otherwise, the risk is that a CIB copy won't be available if I wait until there's a sale.

I agree with Arrr as I know it's the Xbox version you're after. I don't know how many were made. If it was the PS2 version then there'd be no shortage of those available and you could hold out for a lower price.

Is this the xbox version? I didn't even know they released GTAIII except in the twin pack with Vice City for the xbox. Learn something new every day I guess...

that must be the one he's talking about. he doesn't have a PS2.

Yeah. It's the one from the twin pack for xbox. I just picked it up from EB. The guy even threw in a demo copy of Marvel: Nemesis to try out.
