I had a little out of town trip this past weekend as my wife was doing a half marathon so I got to hit up every game store in the area. Found some good stuff too!

More accurate wording would have been "I didn't pay a penny out of pocket for it." See, I had been saving excess trade credit for a long time, and it was marked down from 200 to 49.97, so I grabbed it with the trade credit. Smiley

Well it's kind of a small score, I was missing a reset button and all I could find is a blue button set from a JP Saturn.  So I'm happy with the blue on black.

Hey now,

Found myself a little something to keep my C64s, Ti-99/4A, and Timex Sinclair 1500 company:

Now I just need an Atari 800, Coleco ADAM, and a Zed-Ex Spectrum, and I'll be good to go.

ANYway, one upside to the failure of Starlink is that I can grab the fighters & figures at deep closeout prices:

A few other odds-'n'-ends I encountered recently:

The Japanese Wii game is a Player's Choice release of a Nobunaga's Ambition game that appears to be exclusive to the Wii. The red 3DS XL and 4GB SD card actually set me back $32+tx with the help of a discount coupon.

Whelp, that's it for my latest vidya finds. But before I go, I'm gonna show you a little non-vidya tchochke I grabbed for our very own MetalFRO the Game Boy Guru. Normally, I let him show off the stuff I send him via his "Zag-Box" YouTube videos, but this find was so interesting, y'all just gotta see it right the heck now. Ladies and RF Gentlemen, I present... the Darth Vader / U. of Nebraska Cornhuskers beer can cooler sleeve!

It's two--Two-- TWO FANDOMS IN ONE! ANd it's totes aws0m3z0rz!

But the best part was Mr. FRO's response-text to this find:

"I find your lack of touchdowns disturbing."

I couldn't help but let out a hearty lawlz0rz at that...

Added a few more titles to the PS2 collection a while back:

Last week I got a new little kitty in the mail with some friends. Today I got his AC adapter.

Today I also grabbed a couple games from my local game store.

Nice haul with the Lynx, SirPsycho!

Thanks. In another week I'm gonna order a McWill mod for an LCD screen and VGA output. In the meantime I've been playing some Chip's Challenge on its bad OEM screen.
