Well, this one time, a few years ago. I bought lot's and lot's of wargaming stuff at an auction. I was making three times my money back, I also bought thousands of magazines, and made over £1,500. My friend found out the contact details of the person who had put them in the auction, he's heard about someone selling a huge amount of stuff privately, and guessed it was the same person, and phoned up offering to buy the lot.
The person agreed to see us, but kept stalling. Kept putting us off for one day, or a few more days.
We finally got to see her, and hger business partner. They had an entire room stacked floor to ceiling with the stuff. She held in her hand a print out, with the eBay logo on. LOL
Now, she couldn't have been very computer literate, as this was on in us dollars, from the .com site. She was complaining bitterly, about someone who bought her stuff at auction, and had apparantley sold it all on eBay, for a vast profit.
LOL - Little did she know that very person was standing in front of her. And., to be fair, if she'd bothered to look at eBay properly, she'd have seen my picture on my about me page.
Anyway, after scrweing up and selling the stuff too cheaply at auction, she now wanted far, far too much for the rest of it. £5k in fact. We were only prepared to offer £3.5k.
After much haggling, she gave me a few items as samples, and told me to think it over.
I sold the samples on eBay, for £50 and went down the pub.
I don't think that makes me a bastard, I think it's just business
