I'm having another "Hare" month with this game.  Haven't started. Looking to hopefully jump in at some point and catch up.

Good deal. I'd say not to expect to fly through the game, so you'll want to join in as soon as you are able. The controls take a little getting use to and the difficulty is a bit  above average. Plus, there are puzzle solving elements you'll have to deal with, which will make your run a longer if you have never played this game.

I am close to the end of the game. The control scheme takes some getting used to, and some of the later puzzles can be a bit frustrating but overall it's a good game.

Out of pure curiosity has everyone been using the disposable weapons you pick up or have you been going mostly dagger on everyone?

I've been using the disposable weapons in tight spots and in boss battles, but that's pretty much it. Some enemies at the top of stairs give me trouble sometimes, so I throw bombs up there.

Bombs are your best friends in this game. Also having Efreet charge up to the top of the stairs will knock enemies back.

I"ll have to remember that. I've been just using the dagger.

Just finished the game. I'll post more when the checkpoints catch up.

I've fallen a bit behind with this game.  I made it to the week 1 checkpoint boss about a week ago, but I died and then rage quit.  I keep meaning to come back to it, but my game time has been pretty limited lately, and I've been spending that time with other games.

I think I can echo the other criticisms that have been posted about the game.  Controls are kinda clunky and the hit detection seems a bit off.  It feels like they tried to incorporate a Streets of Rage style combat system into a Zelda style adventure game, and in my opinion, it doesn't work quite as well as one might hope.

Whew! Crickets for this thread. Last checkpoint going up. Anyone near finishing this game? The frustration really got to me on this one.

Tried giving it a go, but just wasn't feeling it. Might return to it at some point, but have too many other games on the backlog that edged this one out. Needless to say, Beyond Oasis is NOT on my Pile of Shame. lol

I also didn't get very far on this one. Life has become a lot more busy with the start of school for my son, and I have also been working an extra 12-15 hours a week lately to prepare for some pretty last minute changes to our company's business plan going forward.
