Is there any way we could get a dedicated forum, or a subforum within the Gaming Generation forum, for the retro and modern community playthroughs? something like what the Collectorcast has, it would be really nice to not have the previous playthroughs getting buried at the end of each month, and make it generally more organized.

obviously not a priority with the way the site is right now, but just an idea to think about once the dust settles.

Why would you need to see past ones all the time?

for those that were actually playing at the time you wouldn't really. i think it would be nice for people who missed any to be able to look back more easily and see all the fun we had as well as the opinions that came up on the game as we went along.

well there's 4 people working on the community playthroughs right now, so any one or all of us would work(Fleach, Grayghost81, singlebanana, and myself). they should post their opinions on this too i think before it gets finalized in case they have any suggestions on how they'd like it done. i don't have a problem with moderating it myself, but i'm not on staff so unless i get an upgrade here it should probably be someone else i would think.

At this time, I believe that only Fleach and I are staff members (both with blog writer status). I'm not sure that we need someone active in the playthroughs to moderate them, but it may be better than one of us having to bug someone else to remove comments or make other such changes. I like the idea, but of course that is up to those in charge. Also, Bil helped to start the community playthrough, so I'm not sure if he would be interested in moderating or not.

I think it would be a great idea, especially for organization. I never really have to sift trough new threads, but it'd be easier and faster to find Community Playthroughs if they had their own dedicated sub-forum.

It would also help us playthrough leaders keep track of the games we've played, participation, activity, and the like.

also i was thinking this would be future-proofing it, because it's not hard to find the old ones now but after we've maybe a year of them or more they would be pretty spread out.
