Goals for 2013:

-Get remaining Nintendo 64 hardware
--Grape console
--Gold controller
--Millennium 2000 controller
-Get a CIB copy of Star Fox 64
-Get a copy of Super Metroid (SNES, cart only OK)
-Keep under 600 games
-Sell off remaining duplicates and unwanted items

I did OK on my goals from last year, so I hope I can knock off a few more this year.

I think my goals will be far more humble this year as my main financial priorities will keep me from squandering too much in gaming related purchases this year. I plan to keep my 3DS collection growing steadily but that may be it for this year. I'm at 93 games now, so 100 is a very reasonable goal - it'll probably end up being closer to 125.

I'm going to keep it simple this year:

100 more Famicom Games
100 more NES Games
50 more SNES Games
25 more N64 Games

Adventure Island IV for the Famicom
Gimmick! for the Famicom
Battle Kid 1 & 2 for the NES
Duck Tales 2 NES
Rescue Rangers 2 NES

I'm hoping to reach 500 total. No particular rhyme or reason to how I do it, just want that to be my goal. I'm at 336 right now with two en route from eBay. Definitely feasible.

OK I want to get games to go along with all my orphaned boxes/manuals, cardboard inserts for all my n64 boxes, and if possible get to 200 N64 games. Let's hope I can get these finished.

i want to aim to have at least 5 games for each system that i actually would enjoy. i have a lot of small collections with less than that many total games, and a few with more total but not many i would likely play. i may also do another audit of my collection, my last one was at the 600 games mark and brought me down to nearly 500. i've been better about not buying everything, but i still have some that i wouldn't miss.

Dreamcast - 5/5
Saturn - 2/5
Wii U - 2/5
Xbox - 3/5 (i have 5 total but 2 of them i don't care for much)
Turbo Grafx-16 - 1/5
Vita - 1/5
Gameboy Advance - 1/5 (2 total, don't care about one)

Aiming to reach 50 "worthwhile" SFC games, and Japanese Final Fantasy set for either PS1 or PS2 (excluding XI).  A total of around 25 games.

Update: Got PS1 & PS2 Final Fantasy main sets [FF7, FF7 Int, FF8, FF9; FF10, FF10 Int, FF10-2, FF10-2 Int, FF12, FF12 Int]
Update: Got over 50 SFC games, although have compromised on "worthwhile" a bit.

As stated in the introduce yourself thread, my goal this year is to get a correct inventory of my collection, get rid of extras and doubles and get my gaming and storage space organized nicely. I plan on documenting my progress in a blog here to keep me motivated along the way.

Would also be nice to complete my dreamcast and intellivision collections, as they are the closest to complete.

Also get both my pinball machines tuned up and working.

Happy new year all!!

I have almost the same goals as you RetroRage.

Get all the Konami silver box games CIB for NES (I have three already)
Get Mega Man 1,2,3,4, and 6 CIB (I have Mega Man 5 CIB, and 2,3,4 cart only)
Get a total of 35 more CIB NES games this year

Find boxes and manuals for:

Fire N Ice
The Jetson's: Cogswells Capers
Dusty Diamond's All-Star Softball
Ducktales 2
Bomberman II

EDIT:  Acquired Mega Man 3 CIB!

Looking for CIB NES games..........even Silent Service.
I once made the mistake of smelling a NES cart.  Man, the last guy that blew in it must have had bad breath, because it smelled like a sack full of assholes.

Lets see I am hoping for another year of NES. Some lets see I am hoping for something like this:
-50 boxed nes games or boxes and manuals for my loose games.
-500 to 600 nes games total

I will be getting some extra money in February if anyone wants to work on something in bulk of sorts. Let me know.

I've reached a point in my collecting where most of my consoles are, for the most part, complete as far as I'm concerned. Most of them are down to a few scant items left on the wishlist that aren't necessarily expensive, yet haven't shown up in local stores, and I'm not in the mood to buy those items off of eBay. Since my spending has decreased due to a combination of that as well as local stores just not having much in stock anymore, I've decided to start buying games online for the platform that I haven't purchased games for in a long time: the Sega Saturn.

My goal is simply to grab as many titles throughout the year as possible from my wishlist. Unfortunately, I can't think of a rigid wishlist. Another unfortunate thing is that I am focusing on the more expensive US-published games, complete in box. As my current Saturn collection contains mostly complete copies and a good mix of common (such as NiGHTS, VF2, and Daytona USA) and rare (such as Dragon Force and Panzer Dragoon Saga), I shouldn't be breaking the bank too hard on this. Hopefully.

- Saturn Bomberman
- Sega Ages

My main goal is to collect all US Castlevania games complete.  I've got 15 so far, many more to go.

I'm also working on sealed Lynx games and Majesco Genesis rereleases.  I know, I'm weird Smiley
