Hi, I do not see any option to close my account. Would that need to be requested?

Is there a reason you need to close your account? I can delete it if you'd like, but I'd like to know the need first.

I don't think I'll be using it as much as I thought when I initially signed up.

I would also want my account to be deleted since I won't be using it anymore. Due to graduating from college, I have to make money by myself so I had to sell most of my games. I'm now more concerned about raising money than making a video game collection. That's why I want my account to be deleted so it won't be one of my priorities anymore. Thank you for the site and the contributions.  Cry

Sorry to hear that - it sucks trying to get a job just after graduation, since you are overqualified for entry level yet "don't have enough experience" to get a job you do qualify for. Good luck trying to find something you'll enjoy, and we'll be here should you pick the hobby back up.

Removing an account though is problematic at best, since your account has its tendrils in the forum and collection tool, and if deleted a new user would contain your details if we missed something. Would it be okay to ban or reset the password to prevent you from logging in instead? You can always recover your account that way as well.

I didn't think it would be so risky. If you want you can erase the password if that's the mandatory option. Thank you for your time.
