As far as I'm concerned, the game is one hell of an overrated turd, and I wouldn't pay more than $5 for one just because I don't have it...but if they're selling for that much I'd gladly pay $15 for one just to sell it.  As far as I'm concerned, you're only getting screwed if you don't feel it's worth it.  If you're willing to spend the money, then realistically the item is worth the money to you.

I only have 2 PSX games, 1 being this FFVII. It's the greatest hits version and I would gladly exchange it for a Andrew Jackson piece of green paper.

***so if this was just a joke, does the seller have to pay eBay their percentage for the ending price?***

Man, why so much hateing on FFVII.  Yes, compared to todays RPGs, it dosen't stand a chance.  But, yall have to try to remember 1997.  When this game came out there was nothing out there that could touch it.  I know some people would argue that point  nono and I know I won't put down more then $15 for it, but this game did rock really hard.

Not sure. I agree with you that it was a great game of its time, only because my friends were talking about it non stop. I myself have never owned it, but since I'm not into collecting PSX games, I wouldn't mind getting a trade or cash for it.

Back in 1997, I found it to be an overrated turd.  Never liked it, and in all honesty, I haven't liked a Final Fantasy game since then.

EDIT: Oh, and for the record, not a single one of my favorite RPGs came from the current gen, or for that matter, any console in the last 10 years.  So it's got nothing to do with today's "standards" which are in my opinion alot lower than they were back when I was a kid.  I would much rather play my games than watch a half-hour cutscene for every 45 minutes of gameplay.  RPGs just aren't what they used to be...but that's a whole other topic...

No way should Final Fantasy VII be priced for that much money on Ebay, Half.com, Amazon, or anywhere. I got mine over a year ago at FYE for only $14.99.

I hate when I find a 2 or 3 cd set and one disc is missing, that drives me krazy as well.  You scored for only 10 bucks sealed. I bought mine from a flea market for 1 buck and I got another psx game (music generation 3 cd set or maybe 4 discs).
