Of all manufactuers, Sony Music has announced plans to set two series based on Nintendo Franchises for DVD release. Those two would be "The Super Mario Brothers Super Show" and "The Legend of Zelda." "The Super Mario Brothers Super Show," a whopping 4-disk compliation is set to release on October 25th while "The Legend of Zelda: The Complete Series" will be available on Octover 11th as a 3-disk compliation.

All I can say is wow, childhood shows from the late 80s and early 90s. Who doesn't like that? What you say you don't? Heathcliff releases in the same month, Lucky you!

that's cool! I've got several of them on VHS but some are looking a bit ragged when I play them. If I remember correctly DIC did a DVD for the Super Mario Bros. Super Show. It may have just been a few select episodes though.

I use to watch the Super Mario Bros. show all the time, but I've only seen two episodes of Zelda.

Well now that you mention it they probably will be pretty expensive....
I am going to definately have to hold off getting them if they are like 30+ bucks.

Maybe I should have clicked some links in the first place.  According to the links in that posting, the are both going to retail for $29.95 US.  I might get them both on the day they are released now!

Indeed.
But i think Sony Pictures and Sony Computer Entertainment of America are different branches of the same tree....  
that made more sense in my head. But i thknk someone will understand me...
