Title: Shadow's Newest Rarity Post by: Shadow Kisuragi on June 16, 2012, 09:03:45 PM My wife was on the hunt earlier in the week, and we had to pick this up. This is now the rarest thing I own, even rarer than Cheetahmen II:
(https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-t8przXeAl5w/T9zZ91bIifI/AAAAAAAAAiI/Xihh1_2XumY/s800/WP_000421.jpg) 2008 Black Ford Mustang Bullitt, #4774 of 5808. 1431 were in Black. Also, I got to lead wildbil on for a bit. That was revenge for the Stadium Events soap repro your wife got for your birthday. ;D http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Mustang_variants#Bullitt Title: Re: Shadow's Newest Rarity Post by: Crabmaster2000 on June 16, 2012, 09:34:47 PM Black Variant, lol!
Title: Re: Shadow's Newest Rarity Post by: Shadow Kisuragi on June 16, 2012, 09:46:43 PM Damn straight. Scott approves of Special Edition variants, so it's a legit variant!
Title: Re: Shadow's Newest Rarity Post by: Duke.Togo on June 17, 2012, 12:40:05 AM Congrats, that is really nice! And I guess you won't be needing that Cheetahmen II then...
Title: Re: Shadow's Newest Rarity Post by: Marriott_Guy on June 17, 2012, 10:08:40 AM Sweet!!
Title: Re: Shadow's Newest Rarity Post by: RETROKING on June 17, 2012, 10:40:48 AM WOW youve made my legs go wobbly,i love mustangs more than my girlfriend and she knows that LOL
Title: Re: Shadow's Newest Rarity Post by: Shadow Kisuragi on June 17, 2012, 04:15:21 PM You should live in Orlando then - we have one of the highest concentrations of Mustangs. :)
Title: Re: Shadow's Newest Rarity Post by: RETROKING on June 18, 2012, 08:16:58 AM I used to have a third generation mustang it was red with a black vinyl roof,it was a ghia model and the engine was a 3.3 straight 6 until it got stolen,i do still have the log book/pink slip, keys and the carb :( :(,i also had a mitsubishi cordia 1.8 turbo until that got stolen aswell :( :(
Title: Re: Shadow's Newest Rarity Post by: wildbil52 on June 18, 2012, 09:35:46 AM It was a 1990 NWC bar of soap, not Stadium Events. And who knows, maybe if I find an NES console made of soap, it might play!
Title: Re: Shadow's Newest Rarity Post by: Shadow Kisuragi on June 18, 2012, 09:42:57 AM Sorry, NWC, not Stadium Events! Bah.
I got to have my fun on the way up on the local highway. Some kid in a 2003 Mustang decided he had to have in front of me, cut me off, then looked back at me. I waited until the highway opened up and gunned it past him. My father-in-law even gunned it past him in their Minivan, and the kid didn't catch back up until we left the highway. I wouldn't feel bad for him, but he was left in the dust by a Minivan. ;D Title: Re: Shadow's Newest Rarity Post by: Tynstar on June 18, 2012, 10:12:10 AM Damn straight. Scott approves of Special Edition variants, so it's a legit variant! I approve this message. Oh yeah nice car even though it is a Mustang :) Title: Re: Shadow's Newest Rarity Post by: inRainbows on June 18, 2012, 07:17:07 PM i have to give ya props. nice ride. and im a camaro guy! i just bought a 2012.
Title: Re: Shadow's Newest Rarity Post by: blcklblskt on June 19, 2012, 01:05:19 PM Oh yeah nice car even though it is a Mustang :) This. ;D I'm assuming a 5-speed? Very nice. Title: Re: Shadow's Newest Rarity Post by: Shadow Kisuragi on June 19, 2012, 01:41:31 PM Of course. I would never buy an Automatic Mustang.
Title: Re: Shadow's Newest Rarity Post by: blcklblskt on June 19, 2012, 01:51:47 PM Of course. I would never buy an Automatic Mustang. Very nice sir. I really, really want a six speed when I get my Challenger within the next year or so. But I'd settle for an SRT8 Magnum. :D Title: Re: Shadow's Newest Rarity Post by: Shadow Kisuragi on June 19, 2012, 02:03:31 PM What year are you looking for? 2011+? I would suggest picking up something bigger than the R/T for older years.
Title: Re: Shadow's Newest Rarity Post by: blcklblskt on June 19, 2012, 02:10:05 PM Likely '11 + because of the handling revisions they made that model year. I'll probably go with an R/T due to insurance costs on the SRT8. I think the jump from 141 horsepower to 379 will likely be enough for a few months.
Title: Re: Shadow's Newest Rarity Post by: Shadow Kisuragi on June 19, 2012, 02:21:46 PM Good man. Pre-2011 isn't worthwhile for a Challenger.
Btw, I have videos from Formula Drift of Samuel Hubinette's Challenger. This is the event I was at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aap3fKlJWk4 If you want, I think I've also got a signed poster from him, I can send you, when you get the car. ;D Title: Re: Shadow's Newest Rarity Post by: s1lence on June 19, 2012, 04:44:27 PM I would have bought a GT500 of that year. :P
When are you coming north so I can race you :evilhappy:? Title: Re: Shadow's Newest Rarity Post by: Shadow Kisuragi on June 19, 2012, 04:58:59 PM How about meeting up at Road Atlanta? My wife and I plan on heading out there next year, once I get the brakes done so I can bring it on the track.
Title: Re: Shadow's Newest Rarity Post by: s1lence on June 20, 2012, 10:28:54 AM That's a bit far for me to drive, especially since I run E85 which I'm guessing isn't very common outside of the corn belt.
Temping though Title: Re: Shadow's Newest Rarity Post by: a_hub10 on June 22, 2012, 08:53:26 PM Nice ride! I just started a job at Ford this week.

Temping though Orlando has E85 and electric terminals, and we're getting more constantly. |
