Title: Shadow's Newest Rarity
Post by: Shadow Kisuragi on June 16, 2012, 09:03:45 PM
My wife was on the hunt earlier in the week, and we had to pick this up. This is now the rarest thing I own, even rarer than Cheetahmen II:

2008 Black Ford Mustang Bullitt, #4774 of 5808. 1431 were in Black.
Also, I got to lead wildbil on for a bit. That was revenge for the Stadium Events soap repro your wife got for your birthday. ;D

Damn straight. Scott approves of Special Edition variants, so it's a legit variant!

Congrats, that is really nice! And I guess you won't be needing that Cheetahmen II then...

You should live in Orlando then - we have one of the highest concentrations of Mustangs. :)

It was a 1990 NWC bar of soap, not Stadium Events.  And who knows, maybe if I find an NES console made of soap, it might play!

Sorry, NWC, not Stadium Events! Bah.

I got to have my fun on the way up on the local highway. Some kid in a 2003 Mustang decided he had to have in front of me, cut me off, then looked back at me. I waited until the highway opened up and gunned it past him. My father-in-law even gunned it past him in their Minivan, and the kid didn't catch back up until we left the highway. I wouldn't feel bad for him, but he was left in the dust by a Minivan. ;D

This.  ;D

I'm assuming a 5-speed?  Very nice.

Of course. I would never buy an Automatic Mustang.

Very nice sir.

I really, really want a six speed when I get my Challenger within the next year or so.

But I'd settle for an SRT8 Magnum.  :D

What year are you looking for? 2011+? I would suggest picking up something bigger than the R/T for older years.

Likely '11 + because of the handling revisions they made that model year.  I'll probably go with an R/T due to insurance costs on the SRT8.  I think the jump from 141 horsepower to 379 will likely be enough for a few months.

Good man. Pre-2011 isn't worthwhile for a Challenger.

Btw, I have videos from Formula Drift of Samuel Hubinette's Challenger. This is the event I was at:

If you want, I think I've also got a signed poster from him, I can send you, when you get the car. ;D

I would have bought a GT500 of that year.  :P

When are you coming north so I can race you  :evilhappy:?

How about meeting up at Road Atlanta? My wife and I plan on heading out there next year, once I get the brakes done so I can bring it on the track.

That's a bit far for me to drive, especially since I run E85 which I'm guessing isn't very common outside of the corn belt.

Temping though

Orlando has E85 and electric terminals, and we're getting more constantly.
