What a surprise. A sequel to a mega-popular game! Regardless, neat little announcement teaser trailer. inb4 complaints about no gameplay footage.

It came to the DS, in a horribly crippled version that wasn't worth playing.

Shouldn't it be called Call of Duty 6: Modern Warfare? Or Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare 2? ::)

Looks like since there's 2 companies alternating yearly releases for the franchise, the traditional sequel numbering system is going away. Oh well. Hopefully CoD:W@W2 will be consistent when it releases presumably in 2010. :-\

I kinda like it being called Modern Warfare 2. A lot easier to say than Call of Duty 6: Modern Warfare 2 or whatever.

Hmmm, I wish that teaser would uncover a bit more about the game than that.

Apparently if you use the zoom tool on http://modernwarfare2.infinityward.com/ you will be able to see a lot more.

I'm guess it actually has nothing to do with the game and was just put there to be visually appealing?

I think it's there just to look cool. And you haven't played the first one? You should do so. The single player campaign was one of the most immersive I've played.

For the three hours it lasted :P

Multiplayer is fun though.
